Another Snow Day

Here is a picture of Heston and Jon, right after his hair cut on Saturday. He is getting to be such a big boy!! This time he even sat in the chair by himself.

Kate turns 5 on Thursday, I am a little sad and she is so excited. Her party is Friday the 5th at Chuck E Cheese. I thought that I would save a lot of sanity not having it at my house on my only day off so money well spent in my opinion.

Josh is about finished with Basketball, He has had a great season. Only 1 week til games are complete and tournament will begin and end the season. We already have received information for baseball sign-ups.

The Davis' have a new address: 7907 Boston Lane, Hixson, TN 37343 (the county changed it for emergency services)

Jon is still in Birmingham working and will be through the spring and into summer so he wont get to coach baseball this season. He is very disappointed.

Today schools close at 11:30/ daycare at 12:30 so Jon is off to round them all up-this is due to winter weather. For now, I am still at work but plan on leaving early.

Snow Day

On Thursday, January 7th it started snowing in Chattanooga. Jon and I both got off work early that day and school and daycare let out at noon. On the 8th there was no school or daycare due to the conditions. Let me tell you it is COLD here. We have had lows in the 10's and teens and highs in the 20's. It got to 33 Sunday and felt so warm outside, Josh played Basketball with a friend in our driveway in a short sleeve t-shirt. Today (the 12th) there are still spots of snow around. We are so busy with basketball (for Josh) church activities, birthday parties, and (approaching too quickly...Katelyn's 5th Birthday) which I am trying to plan this week. Jon got a promotion and his head man on his job in Birmingham, AL. I am back in the full swing of things with several trials coming up that is taking a lot of preparation. at work. On February 6th Katelyn and I will be attending a Princess Tea at church. She asked me on Sunday "mom do I have to drink tea?" Poor thing. I told her I was sure they would serve something besides tea. Josh has basketball pictures on Saturday so I hope to get a picture package so you all can have a better picture of Josh for your frames. I will keep you posted as best I can in the coming weeks and with pictures of Katelyn's 5th Birthday. Until then, Cheers!
