Josh and Heston (by Luck) are both # 2 this year for Baseball. Josh plays for the Dodgers and Heston plays for the Red Sox.
Josh and Heston -Josh went out there and helped Heston during his first game. He hit the ball on the first pitch and "made a home run!" He was also pitched the ball and did not hit it off the "t"-so not so bad!
When Josh was having his first practices this season me and the kids were stuck at the baseball fields with NO unlocked bathrooms. Needless to say, Heston had to "go" on several occasions so I took him to a tree and let him do his business. Well that has come back to haunt me...Here is Heston getting caught by Jon doing some business on a tree in OUR YARD!!We had a busy weekend. Mike came to town to watch the boys play baseball this past weekend. Josh had a game on Friday night (he lost and then we went to eat dinner) and they both had games on Saturday. Heston's was at 10:30 and Josh's was at noon. So we were at the fields for several hours. After the games we ran home, cooked lunch, rested for a few minutes, regrouped and headed to a birthday party at a park. The kids loved the park and it was a beautiful day. After the party, Jon watched the kids while I went to run erronds. Then, back home to get ready for Sunday. We had a great guest preacher this week, Jon and I both got a lot of it. We substituted in the 2 year old class during Sunday School. I worked last night and work again on the 25th. Jon has cameras this week and the next, so like always we are tired and busy. My friend Kristi, (she was in my wedding) has told us that she is going to watch the kids for us on Saturday the 24th so we can go out on a date for my 30th Birthday...we are so excited. Since mom helps me so much during the week with the kids, and normally comes to Josh's games (and now Heston's games) on the weekends, we hate to ask her to watch the kids for us just to go out, so this will be a real treat for us. Last year, Jon was traveling on his 30th and I didn't get to see him on his special day, this year he is missing my special day-which is also the day we met, which was 10 years ago...my how time flies...on a side note, Kate is fine. She is ready to swim and "live in her swim suit"this summer. She truly loves the water. I think I might have to pull the slip n slide out soon. Well, until next time, cheers.
